Oh snap, getting cracking again!

Back again after a mega hiatus to have a baby. My current projects are nuts, and the ones currently in progress are not insanely researched so they'll not be A&S entries. However I've got a couple thoughts as to those and I'll be executing a major project in the next 6 months.

Currently in progress:

Green linen cyclas - Manesse Codex style with teardrop side openings, and a minor gold laid collar on facing. Machine sewn seams with hand sewn facing, hems, and visible stitches.

Black and gold GFD and mens' fitted surcote - 15th century matching garb for my lord and myself. Machine sewed with hand sewn visible stitches and gold shank buttons. Not documented, but appropriate style.

Purple silk wizard robe - purple dupioni and black linen lining. Bliaut style sleeves with sleeve, collar, front, and hem in a purple silk true taffeta with gold laid work embroidery.

Future projects:

Mid 14th century silk and linen houppelande.  Halfway in progress in black linen lining and green/heather silk and bamboo blend woven outer. Documentable at a basic level.

Blue and black linen GFD. In progress but laid to the side for fitting issues.

Black and red silk bliaut with matching over bliaut in the Byzantine style.

Blue and white houppelande - major project for 2015 A&S.
